FlexiDock is a compact 3D-printed drawer designed to mount under your desk, helping you organize small items and keep your workspace clutter-free. The drawer includes:
A phone holder with a charging cable hole
A pencil/pen slot
Two compartments for small items like USB sticks, paperclips, or adapters
The drawer slides into two simple trays mounted underneath the desk. It is hidden when not in use but easy to access when needed. FlexiDock is lightweight, practical, and space-saving.
How to Use It
Mount the two tray pieces under your desk using screws (recommended) or strong double-sided adhesive. Screw holes are pre-designed into the trays.
Once mounted, slide the drawer into the trays. It stays secure but easily slides in and out.
Use the phone slot to hold your phone upright while charging — the back hole lets you pass a charging cable through.
The pencil slot holds a few pens or pencils, and the two compartments are for any small items you regularly need.
Assembly Instructions
Print the drawer and both trays.
Position the trays under your desk so that they are parallel and aligned. The holes in the trays are for screws — use wood screws appropriate for your desk surface.
Screw the trays in place. Alternatively, use very strong double-sided tape, but screws are more reliable.
Slide the drawer into the trays. The drawer will slide in and out freely but stay supported.
Size Adjustments: You can easily resize the drawer or compartments in any CAD software if you have a different desk size or want larger/smaller compartments.
Mounting Options: If you don’t want to drill into your desk, you could modify the trays to use adhesive, clamps, or magnets.
Phone Slot: The phone slot fits most modern smartphones but can be widened or narrowed if needed.
Materials: Tried and only used PLA.
Recommended Tools/Hardware:
4–6 small wood screws (approx. 3–4 mm diameter)
Screwdriver or drill
