Sick of my filament binding as it attempts to unwind especially with the cardboard spools? This model was made with Tinkercad to eliminate extruder skipping from a bound roll. You provide the hard drive motor and print these two parts reusing the mounting bolts for the motor and platters. After removing the platters, the shaft part goes on the motor spindle and the base connects to the motor base. There are some small holes needed in the raised ring on the base to hold the motor. If printed at 100% solid, it is no trick to drill the holes for your specific motor. The motor used was from an unknown drive, so check your setup first. Originally intended to mount to 2020, this is screwed to a wall stud behind the printer, so there are mounting options.
