This is a model of an oarlock. I made this model as a gift for their wedding: You can roll up some paper money like an oar.

I took inspiration by a picture of real oarlock as sold by e.g. concept2.
The upper part is actually functional: The nut can be screwed on and holds the oarlock closed and the pin can pivot.

Print instructions
I printed all the parts in PLA with the shown additional Diskhelpers to increase bed adhesion.
(Right click on the part → Add Part → Gallery → DiskHelper)
I used Prusament Galaxy Black and Prusament Marble Grey.

The base prints easy without further additions.
You can use the base to write greetings or initials, when you use it as a gift.

Assembly Instructions
Additionally to the printed parts you need an M5 x 50 mm screw with two nuts.
The moving pin is secured with a small part of filament: Use a small e.g. 2 mm drill bit and clean the holes. Put in the short part of filament and use you soldering iron to melt the PLA at the corners. Now the parts don't come loose.
