Guide (Quick)
- Print the docking station file
- Insert you lightning cable from the back, through the hole, and pull it into place, it should fit precisely.
IMPORTANT !
I designed this to fit an iPhone with a cover on, but if you want to use this docking station with a good fit still, but without a phone cover, then follow these steps:
This requires replacing the plastic housing on your cable, but it is a simple fix and wont damage your cable if done correctly.
- Download and print the “Cable_Housing_Replacement.stl” file
- Remove the original plastic housing on your cables connector end.
- Slide the replacement housing that you printed on the connector, until it alligns like the original did.
- Dap a tiny amount of super glue inside the housing, from the cable end only NOT the connector end, this will secure the new housing.
- Done, now just follow (Guide (Quick) - Step 2).
