This is a fixture for holding ½" material and for setting the depth of dowels drilled on 32mm centers. The depth on the original model may be 5mm, but you will need to adjust the thickness of the base based on your needs.

Fixture use:

Screw two mounts to your workbench. Place ½" material into the fixture with the edge facing upwards. This fixture will hold ½" material securely while you apply edge banding. 

Dowel Setter use:

The holes are centered at 32mm. Place the fixture over the edge where the dowels are to be installed. Pound the dowel into the workpiece until the dowel is flush with the top of the fixture. This will set the dowel at the prescribed depth. 

This may also be used for drilling dowels on 32mm centers, but it wasn't designed for that.
