Simple dowel jig i designed. It's for 3/4" wood and a 3/8" dowel. You just mark a line between the 2 pieces of wood you want to connect, line the slit with the line you drew, and drill throuh the hole using a 3/8" bit.

I placed a 3/8" copper coupling in the printed hole to help protect the plastic from the drill.
