I had to change out the original reverse camera in my WRX as it did not work with the new Head Unit. I purchased a Natika Backup camera from Amazon, which works well, but the method of installation did not suit me, I did not want to put a hole in the body for it. I designed a bracket in Tinker Cad, which was fun. The camera is a bit of a pain, in that it has a long threaded column at an angle, which the wire comes out from, so I had to loop the wire back around and bring it through the bracket via a small hole. I would recommend waterproofing the hole, and the backing plate is a tight fit, but I will add some superglue to prevent it coming loose from vibration. the camera is also held in place by the trim on the bootlid, so it won't just fall out. I did it in Creality PLA filament, time will tell if the hot weather will affect it.
