There are many designs for spool rollers out there, but none of them fitted my requirements,  so decided to roll my own.

This is a roller for all the filament spools in my collection up to a 3kg spool. max spool width=130mm.

I used M3 brass inserts for in the base for the to mount the bearing clamps. The screws needed for the bearing clamps are M3x10.

The rollers take a M8 shaft, something that I scrounged from an old printer. I used 608ZZ bearings.

2 rollers need to be printed. I printed them vertical, and used PrusaSlicer to split each roller in 2 on the z-axis, as I don't trust my printer on very tall objects.

4 bearing clamps need to be printed.

The base has 2 mounting screw holes on the sides.

The SCAD file is included, so feel free to modify it for your own use.
