Summary
Recreated the loop for my Plantronics wireless ear bud.
The piece was clear, so I painted it black and took a picture of it. Then I converted it to a SVG and imported it into tinkdercad. From there I re-drew it to add roundness to the shape. A few quick test prints later and I was back in business.
