These extensions are great if you do not want to reprint taller legs, and are okay with using superglue. I created this to accommodate fitting in a concrete + rubber paver, and be able to use a shorter screwdriver to attach to the bottom of table's legs
How to install:
- Unscrew existing 3d printed legs from the table's legs
- Screw in the 4cm extensions to the bottom of the table's legs
- Use 70-99% alcohol (use a different cleaning solution if you are not using PLA!) to clean the bottom of the 4cm extensions, and the top of 3d printed legs
- Superglue the 3d printed legs to the 4cm extensions
Note:
- This procedure is pretty much irreversible, use at your own risk
- This is not perfect solution, and this would not solve your problems if you already have perfectly cut acrylic panels.
- I used cheap superglue from dollar store to glue the extensions to the legs, and the hold is very sturdy!
