This design fits into the screw holes of the controls of the IKEA MITTZON electric sit/stand desk (tested with US model, your controls may vary). The provided screws for mounting the controls easily chew through the thin plastic that is allegedly designed to keep the entire control module mounted to the bottom of the desk; these parts work around this design flaw by simply adding to the amount of plastic that is used to hold up the controls. It also helps keep the controls nicely aligned. I've successfully used this on both brand new controls as well as ones I've already chewed through with a drill.
