This extension transforms your Otto HP robot into a Low Rider with articulated suspension.

It uses 8 servo motors:
-
4 servos for the wheels, inserted into the side holes of the chassis.

4 servos for the articulated arms, allowing the robot to lower or raise its body.

The arms create a mechanical articulation:
-
Each arm is mounted on a servo, enabling dynamic movement and lowering the robot until its underside touches the ground.

This gives the robot a true “low rider” stance.

Once assembled, the robot can squat, tilt, or lie flat — perfect for expressive movement or terrain adaptation.

Cette extension permet de transformer votre robot Otto HP en version Low Rider articulée.

Elle utilise 8 servomoteurs :

4 servos pour les bras articulés, permettant au robot de s’abaisser ou de se relever.

Chaque bras est monté sur un servo, ce qui permet de contrôler l’inclinaison du robot.

:how to assemble:
1 — Prepare all the parts you need
Make sure you have everything ready before starting:
-
8× micro servos
-
4× M2.0 screws (for securing the arm supports)
-
The already‑assembled Otto HP body
-
4× Arm pieces (3D printed)
-
2× Arm Support pieces (3D printed)
2 — Flip the body upside down
Turn the Otto HP body so the underside is facing up.
This gives you access to all the servo mounting holes.
3 — Insert the arm supports into the arm pieces

Slide each Arm Support into its matching Arm.
-
Make sure the fit is tight and aligned.
-
These will hold the servos in place later.
4 — Insert the servos into the designed holes

Place one servo into each hole designed for it on the body.
-
Make sure the servo shaft is oriented correctly.
-
Push the servos fully into the openings.
5 — Screw the servos in place
-
Use the M2.0 screws to secure the servos.
-
Tightening the servos will also lock the Arm Supports firmly in position.
-
Ensure everything is stable and aligned.
6 — Attach the full assembly to the Otto HP body

Once the servos and supports are installed, place the entire assembly onto the Otto HP body.

Press gently until everything fits into place.
✔ And that’s it — your Low Rider extension is installed!
