Taller phone stop for the Tesla Model 3. My phone case is thick, and the stock stop is too short, so my phone, sunglasses, etc fly right over and into the console. This stop replaces the stock stop (simply slide off to the left to remove old one). The remaining gap between the top of the stop and the console lid is about 1/4".

Latest version (Tesla Phone stop Rev X3) has a groove that allows a charge cable to come up from below. Much improved. Designed to print on the side with the chamfer.

Used tree supports in Cura 5.6.0 with seam as shown in the screenshot.

2020 version: Using Cura 4.4, I suspended this part using a very small cylinder which allowed me to use support underneath the entire part. I found it was easier to chip the support off this way rather than rest it on an edge.

If you use the file without the cylinder, you can rest it on the flat end, and it will build at a 3 degree angle, but the surface finish isnt quite as nice as being completely vertical. you could also try resting it on the edge and build it vertical, but as stated, I had poor surface finish on the end. Let me know what works best for you!

Also, use the "Hide Seam" on "sharpest corner" option when slicing. This will move the seam from an aesthetic face (as seen in the picture) to a corner.

Reverse engineered from the stock part using calipers, and then modified the geometry a bit based on the "as printed" part. To prevent the entire part from filling (quicker print), I hollowed out the inside, but chamfered the inside top corners so support wouldnt be necessary to support the top. Similar trick with the snap features. Use an overhang angle of 60 degrees, and you'll only get support on the very bottom surface (if you used the suspended version of the file).
