Note: I noticed severe differences in the hinge mechanism while printing multiple of these containers. This is now a redseign. All old revisions have been moved to the Arhive folder. The old page has also been saved as a pdf if you liked the older versions better.
The capacity of this small container is intended to hold enough medication for a day trip or a night out. All while not taking up more space than a BIC Maxi lighter. With this small volume it easily fits in every piece of luggage or even a small pocket.
This box consists of three printable components:
Body
Lid
Hinge
Note: Make sure to use the latest version in the Latest directory. Additionally it requires two 6x3mm magnets as well as some glue for the final assembly.
Printing
I recommend the following settings for a 0.4mm nozzle:
0.2mm layer height
15% infill
No brim, except for the hinge
Supports are recommended for the lid Image shows sliced files from the bottom
Assembly
It's as easy as you think:
Glue the hinge in place in the case body
dry fit the lid to confirm the notch matches
glue the magnets in place, minding their orientation
