Update 8/8/25: The file Old Style Sig Str Meter2 CAP4.stl has a longer body and was needed to properly mount the panel meter.
I'm building a simulated Ham Radio 2000 Watt Linear Amplifier. I wanted some antique-looking panel meters for the front panel. Very old panel meter have a curved slot opening for reading the information.
This uses a standard Adafruit 12-Neopixel ring like this https://www.amazon.com/Adafruit-NeoPixel-Ring-Integrated-Drivers/dp/B00KAE3R1U
I printed the body parts in PLA and the lens in PETG with 100% infill. The lens uses a compression fit with 0.5% tolerance. To get the lens in place I carefully place into the body and tap into place. I used a Panavise and a small spacer to perfect the fit.
This uses 7 of the available addressable LEDs making it compatible with my linear signal strength meter https://www.printables.com/model/1327070-signal-strength-meter-addressable-led-based-arduin
