This is AGGRC’s axolotl token, created as a fun, science-themed giveaway for large events and outreach. The design features a stylized axolotl, representing our work in aquatic genetics and research. We call it a token or doubloon as a nod to Louisiana’s Mardi Gras culture, where doubloons are collectible coins tossed from floats and shared as keepsakes. Ours adds a research twist, making it a unique item that blends local tradition with scientific spirit. Perfect for handing out at conferences, school visits, or community events.
