This simple little mount for your laser makes it handy for 3d scanning.
YOu could use it with the DAVID software. I wrote my own in processing and wrote a small driver for an arduino to turn on the turntable then laser and rotate till ti reaches a mercury switch.
The bracket mounts to your LACK ikea table leg so you can turn your LACK table into a laser 3d scanner.

tolerance is .25 mm on bearings, though I wanted it to scrape so you can position the laser and leave it.
I have included the scad file to play with he dimensions.
Perhaps a lever to connect a servo is in order.
