The Slice View Volcano is an educativ model to show the five main parts of a volcano and in countrary or ald school model, this one is working and show with water and red food colorant if wanted to show the lava flow.

This Small model was used in my French classroom to teach them the main parts of a volcano. My teacher actually keep my model by his simplicity and because it capt students attention to show ot work !

My Objectiv is to make people learn with very simple model like in "Fred et Jammy - C'est pas Sorcier" . It is easily memorable and stay in people mind in long therm by how simple it really work.

At least and of what i saw, every ages of people can learn with this. When i travelled to Canarian Island, no one in my bus really know how volcano work and i was the one who explained them all, i think my little volcano could be in a touristic place to show every ages of people how volcano work in a slice view.

Before starting this project you should be interested in volcano activity or in need to teach people volcano activity, you will need a little knowneldge and remeber the second picture i browse for knowing of what correspond the numbers and letters.

For the making you just have to follow the pictures, you will need:
-Cutter/Scissor
-Plastic Papper/Kitchen Film/Plastic A4 cover
-Low cost Glue/Plastic glue
-Air Balloon
-Water (but only when glue is dry)

For the use, you have to fill the Ballon with water but just enough to fill without growing it.
Place the balloon and in fonction of if you want a lateral flow or not push the balloon like in the video to make it erupt !!!!

Be sure to have set the printed parameter i used because changing or ignoring them would be a waste of plastic or a waste of time.
Be also sure for small 3d printer to have an enough large plate for printing it. My 3d printer was small but with lot of work i make it enter well for the printing :)

I decided to make a working little volcano with water to show mainly the difference between lateral flow and by the main Vent
The classical model does not really capt attention of all ages students. The design of volcano with a slice view not really marked the spirits. I thought it would have been interesting to adapt the chemical experiment with white vinegar and baking soda in a bottle with a reusable application and less expensive and in a smaller space like a classroom.
So i finally though it would be great to adapt the slice view WITH the chemical experiment, but this time replace the chemical process by pressured water.
Putting piston would be very difficult and expensive, i decided to replace it by a simple birthday balloon.
