DIY E-Bikes are fantastic, however, the mess of cables along the bottom of the bike can be unsightly. In addition, cables along the bottom of the bike will also be exposed to mud, which could damage them. That's why I printed myself a modular cable shroud to make my bike look cool and also to protect my cables.

Printing:

The top and bottom ends may benefit from support, but the middle pieces do not need it.

Assembly:

After printing, you'll need to assemble the shroud. The order doesn't really matter but each connection will require two M4 bolts and nuts. Each module also contains a slot for a zip tie so it can be attached to the bike. For the best aesthetics, make sure the smooth side of the zip tie is facing outward and that the head is inside of the shroud. Finally, cut up an old plastic folder (or anything made up of thin flexible plastic) and slide it into the grooves on the shroud.
