After many years the soft plastic on my bread knife handle has started to degrade and would always be coated in an oily residue - let's fix that.

Compatible with the Ikea Vörda bread knife model 22676/1706, might also fit the other large knives in that series; do leave a comment if you try.

I've made two models: one with and another without notches to latch onto the tang and slightly looser tolerances. I printed the first one and let's say that installation required judicious use of a pot of boiling water, clamps and a hammer.

I printed mine in one piece as oriented vertically with supports on the base; printing with the base flat failed, the part would unstick and tip over once the center of gravity moved far enough.

Alternatively, the model could be split, printed flat and glued or Acetone welded.

Printed in Polymaker “Gold” ABS using the Voron PIF profiles with the Z seam moved to the rear.
