This is a set of three vaccum hose adapters for use in my workshop.

All three adapters are made to attach a standard 1.25" vacuum hose to common shop dust collection systems. I use these to connect my stationary tools (miter saw, band saw, table saw, etc). to my dust collection system, which is based on 2" PVC piping with blast gates at each tool location. The pipes feeds into a dust doctor mated to a repurposed central vacuum system vacuum unit, which I got for free on Craigslist.

Three adpaters included are:

• 1.25: hose to 2" PVC pipe (female)
• 1.25" hose to 2.5" blast gate (male)
• 1.25" hose to 4" table saw dust collector (male)

The 1.25" hose connector is reverse threaded so the hose can screw in using the hose spiral design for a tight and secure fit. The 2" PVC connector is female and should fit any standard 2" PVC pipe. The blast gate and table saw connectors are both male connectors with a slight lip at the base so they slide in snugly with a positive stop. All three connectors are slightly tapered (0.5-1.0mm) to ensure a positive fit.

The design of these is fully modular. I designed each connector and bridged the gap between with a tapered cylinder. It should be easy to cut them into sections and add your own custom connectors.

I also have a custom hose attachment that fits into teh bottom of a Craftsman band saw from the 1950s. Look at my other designs for this part.

I sliced these in Cura on low quality settings, which worked fine for my application. I printed them on my Ender 3 Pro using Inland PLA+ filament. It printed perfectly without supports.
