This bird house is designed to be mounted under an eave where sparrows like to have their homes. I put 2 up this year and sparrows moved into one of them. I included a small overhand over the hole to keep rain out and weep holes in the bottom in case any water gets in. I used a ledge instead of a peg for the sparrows to land on and it seems to be no problem for the parents. I did this so it could print without supports.

Sparrows moved in in 2018 and 2019 in the same house so it seems to work for them.

I designed this to print without support

There are holes in the top to nail or screw into the 2in wide rafter board. I used brad nails. I put some pine needles inside to get the nest started and the sparrows added some more material to the nest.
