A simple sturdy spool holder that fits every spool I have (I only buy 1KG spools). I put in holes to fit M5 cap head screws for anyone who might want to use t-nuts to mount it on something but I just put it on top of my enclosure.
This spool holder uses 2x8mm 100mm steel rods and 4x8mm bearings. I used these ones.

Print one base and two rollers, push the steel rods through the rollers and put a bearing on each end. Drop the rollers into the slots in the base.

Make the walls 1.2-1.6mm for strength.
I printed the rollers standing up on end, be aware of the z-seam, if it's very pronounced it will be a place for the spool to stick against, either use random to break it up or expect to sand it off.Fuente del modelo
