After a recent move I discovered that the back plates of some Ikea Billy storage racks were broken and had gathered some mildew. To keep the stored media from touching the walls at my new location I created these brackets. They work with the Billy widths 40 and 80 centimeters.
The 40cm Billy variant needs 3 per shelf and they fit very snuggly. The 80cm variant needs 6 per shelf and have a bit of space between each bracket. They have integrated holes for mounting with two 3x16 wood screws per element.
Print without support works great with the PLA I used, even though Orca Slicer was warning about the geometry. Little imperfections wont be seen since they are facing the wall.
Print settings:
Material: PLA (I used eSun Matte PLA, got a bunch of it very cheap)
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Walls: 3
Infill: Grid, 20%
