My expirience with 123D Creatures and Meshmixer as support generator. Turn out pretty well.
Modeling took less than one hour, printing more than eight. Supports were removed in 15 min with a single tool

The .stl has built-in supports (generated with meshmixer), no need extra support from slicer. I printed it in PLA with 0.1mm z resolution, 20% infill and print speed 20 mm/s. Support come out pretty well.
