When you buy plants, they often come in a plastic pot. Of course you can take the plant out of that pot and put it in a nicer looking one, but that creates a bit of a mess. This small planter hides most of that ugly cheap pot. It also makes watering the plant a bit easier. You can fill the printed pot with water to keep the soil moist for longer. 

This specific model is designed around a 9 cm pot from IKEA, but you can probably scale it up to fit your plant. Just make sure that you're using around 5 or 6 perimers next to each other. I don't recommend scaling it down, because you'll run into issues with keeping it watertight.

layer hight: 0.3 mm

top solid layers: 6

bottom solid layers: 3

perimeters: 3

extrusion width (perimeters): 0.45 mm

infill: 5% line

• layer hight doesn't really matter, you can go lower if you don't mind a long print
• 3 perimeters @ .45 mm extrusion width essentially makes 6 perimeters, because the walls are 2.7 mm.
• make sure your printer isn't under extruding
• I bumped my printing temperature up by 10 °C to fuse the layer together
