Parametric model of a USB-C dust cap created with FreeCAD 1.0

There are 3 files:

• The original FreeCAD source file if you wish to tune the dimensions for you application.
• usb-c_dust_cap_default.stl for direct printing
• usb-c_dust_cap_ribbed.stl for direct printing.

Notice that you can easily switch between the default and ribbed version using the dd.Style enumerator.

I recommend printing with soft material such as TPU 85A. I used the following settings:

• Extruder 225 ºC
• Heated bed 50ºC
• Infill speed 15 mm/s
• Wallspeed 7 mm/s
• 0.16 mm layer height
