Always annoyed by commercial SEM stub holder for four stubs, while I can have five samples in one run. So I decided to design an holder for five SEM stubs (standard stub with a diameter of 3.2mm)
The cover fits perfectly on top of it, but the printer must be dialled in properly. Otherwise print the cover at 1% bigger to be on the safe side (or get ready to some sandpaper action).
For storage of the stubs, I also designed an insert which fits a pipette box (67x105mm).
Once I was at it, I also designed an holder for the stubs mounting and transporting from the sputter station to the SEM.
And I've also added a single “clamp” for the SEM stubs, so you can attach it whatever you want to design.
Print at 50% infill or more, to be sure that the “clamping” mechanism doesn't break, and has fun.
