I use :

• a standard 12v 2A DC 220v AC power adapter with a positive centre pin
• an inline power switch dimmer ON/OFF 2.1X5.5mm cable jack 12V
• a 470microFarad 35V capacitor to avoid flickering
• 7 strips 300mm cut out of a 5m strip 12V led 5050 white , 60 leds /m
