Summary
Needed a replacement for the Shoulder Buttons of my Power A XBOX/PC Controller and improved the design a bit.
Improvements:
- more contact area to buttons
- matching angle to buttons
- slightly longer arms
-> less wear of plastic and buttons
There are two designs the first one has a completely closed housing, here it can get stuck sometimes when not completely smooth.
When this occurs try printing the second version where the section that gets stuck is cut out (but can therefore be seen from above).
I also added an exact copy of the original bumper if you prefer it or want to edit it yourself.
Update1 - 15.08.2023:
Added PowerA_Shoulder_V3 --> stronger arms, better angle, slightly longer
Update2 - 12.02.2024:
Added PowerA_Shoulder_V4 --> added 1.5mm shorter Version
Update3 - 15.12.2024:
P.S.: If you're looking for a new controller that doesn't break and lasts ages - I changed to Gamesir-G7 SE, it has hall effect sensors and a removable cover for easy access to change out the sticks and is relativly cheap for under 50€. Never had any issue so far since I bought it in 2023 and heavy use.
(Be aware that the shoulder buttons still are normal buttons - but never had any issues)
Update4 - 07.03.2025:
Added PowerA_Shoulder_V5 --> V4 but with original arms
Update5 - 27.08.2025:
Added PowerA_Shoulder_V6 --> V5 with reinforced arms (original arms but reinforced and shorter body)
