UPDATE:
I added some discs for to top and the bottom and a modified clip I borrowed and modified from here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:767317 in order to be able to transfer a faulty spool that had two sewing threads into two single ones. Made a guide for that as well so that you put the threads in to the same area of the spools.
Large spool for sewing machine to be used to split one large spool into two smaller ones.
