A collection of depth stops for drill bits. An OpenSCAD file is included so you can customize them for a better fit or create additional sizes.

• bit_size is the diameter of the drill bit in mm. This also automatically adjusts the labels on the top and side.
• tolerance can be used to increase the tolerances of hole. Masonry bits tend to have shafts that are narrower than their tips, I've found that setting the tolerance to 0 works for both those and drill bits that are precisely their nominal size but YMMV and you can adjust it if necessary
• gap_width is the width of the gap that allows the stop to be tightened around the bit. For 3mm bits, you'll probably want to lower it to 2mm

Printing / Assembly

Do not print this in PLA. PLA is not only too brittle and may crack when tightened, it also softens at pretty low temperatures and especially when drilling into concrete, that could become a problem. PETG is both more flexible and somewhat more temperature tolerant.

No supports required.

Each stop requires 1 M3 hex nut and 1 M3 socket head screw with a length of 10 or 12 mm.
