Summary
these designs are to re-house the Arduino 2560&Ramps1.4 separate from the smart controller on the Poltur i3 Printer and give the printer a more compact and tidy finish.
the smart controller case also allows the builder to position the controller anywhere they choose on the frame or even externally if printer is enclosed.
obviously this designs can be used on any Ramps equipped printer, its by no means exclusive to the Poltur, its just what it was designed originally for.
I also incorperated a digital voltmeter display into the ramps case using this display:-
but should the builder not want to use one Ive also included a blanking part.
the display case front and back snap together tightly and dont allow the controller to move about inside once together but also have fixing holes if the builder wants a more permenant fix.
the ramps case lid has two slots for 40mm fans to snap into (one can be used if you prefer but I found too much cooling is better than too little)
both the rears of the ramps case and controller are open backed HEX patterned to allow for better cooling but also offer ample fixing points for mounting both, the nature of my Poltur printer allows me to simply zip-tie the pair where I choose too and they'll both be solid and secure.

Post-Printing
I printed the ramps case in translucent PLA but any material is uasable, I only opted for the translucent as the box glows and flashes as the printer is in operation, allows you to gauge if everything is working as it should but more importantly its proper geek'ish and funky to see.
