Summary
I did this LED ring for my wife, it should help her with makeup color.
Used WS2812 addressable LED strip, connected to ESP32 WEMOS32. The ESP is connected to the wifi, and fetch's data from MQTT server, which is updated by node red. With some modifications it can also be a watch.
You can also use normal LEDs with IR receiver.
