Summary
The idea behind this is to catch large debris in the bucket so the pool filter doesn't get plugged as easy. I have seen similar items that do this that cost over $200 so I made my own. I have not tested it yet but its pool opening season so i thought there might be others looking for something like this. I will post updates on how it works. To print the lid i printed it upside down on a 45 degree angle with the connections at the top of the print with tree supports only touching build plate(see picture). i also added Hose adapters for download as well
Update 9/2024
added bowl.stl as the bucket collapsed. the bowl was much stronger and it does work well. better if it is submerged.
