I am really good in disassembling everything. :-)

I once disassembled an old Practica lens and kept the main group of lenses. I use the lens as powerful loupe. Used to hold it in bare hands. But once I got my printer I decided to make a frame for it. Then I thought "Why not to make a nice box for it?"

So here it is.

The box needs an acetone treatment because i sanded it a bit to unify the surface.

I no longer have the scad file for loupe frame.

The fit of top and bottom part of the box is so tight that you may need some light scrapping of the contact rim. I used small carving chisel.

I am not sure anyone is gonna make this thing tbh. But the way of creating the box in open scad may be useful for somebody.
