Design Concept
I enjoy the faceted, geometric charm of low poly design, but wanted to push it further by exploring what I am calling ‘ultra low poly’ - a style focused on radical polygon reduction, rather than the aesthetic it creates. In this dragon, each body section is reduced to a simple cube, legs are angular and simple and all connectors have few flat sides. It’s an experiment in how far the form of a familiar creature can be simplified while still remaining recognisable, something that perhaps came out of growing up folding origami.
