This Spool Adapter is designed to quickly reel filament bird-nests (or string lights, yarn, paracord, etc.) with a drill equipped with a 1/2" (12mm) chuck.

Print requires no supports.

I used triangle 20% infill and three walls for rigidity on both the stud and the Drill Adapter.

Hole on the plate adhesion side will need to be deburred to allow the Stud (separate file) to be pressed in. The tolerances are purposefully very tight so that glue will not be required and the Stud can be easily changed out in the event that it should break. Alternatively, a metal bolt can be used. Dimensions of plastic stud: 10mm x 30mm w/17mm head.
