I wanted a minimalist cage that would hold the Tesla charging adapter to keep it from rolling around in the center console. This is about as small as I could make it and still have some structural rigidity. There are some anti-rattle pads on both ends to keep things quiet.
The adapter slips and clips into place as you would expect. To remove it just retract the clip with your fingertips.
It’s simple to print and superglue together - 0.4 nozzle, 0.25mm structural, 4 perimeters, 15% infill, no supports. I scaled my prints at 100.4 X, Y, and Z to have the print come out as designed.
Print the parts separately as shown in the .stl, or load the .3mf as separate parts. The clip is lying on its side, the cage is legs up.
The model as shown was printed in PLA+, though PETG and ABS/ASA should be fine too.
