Installing a 🥰 BTT SB2209 on my Voron Stealthburner/CW2, I wasn't satisfied with the available umbilical solutions. So I started from scratch, explored different approaches, and designed this Cable Bridge PLUS.

It ended up not that different from existing models, but it's fine-tuned in the ways that matter most to me. And it pairs with a custom-made companion part - the XT30 2+2 Plug for SB2209 / SB2240 - to form a sleek and ultra compact umbilical solution for these toolhead boards. 🤩

Assembly

Just a short remark before we start:

• The part is designed for an umbilical cable with outer diameter of 5.5 mm.

• The mounting point for the umbilical cable is tight - this is on purpose to hold the cable securely also in heated environments, where the material of the cable coating might soften. So you will need to use some force to press it in. The shape of the part will allow it to flex slightly, helping you to get things done.
