This two-gang box extender is designed for situations where additional space is required for electrical wiring or devices in an existing electrical box. Its design allows for more wiring flexibility and accommodates additional switches or dimmers.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this model is to safely extend the capacity of the existing electrical box, providing space for more complex wiring setups or the installation of additional electrical devices.

Print Recommendations

• Material: Use a robust, non-conductive material such as PETG or ABS to withstand environmental conditions and ensure electrical safety.
• Infill:15% to 25% should be sufficient for durability without using excessive material.
• Layer Height: A standard 0.2mm layer height for a balance of quality and printing speed.

Assembly Instructions

Before installation, ensure that the power is turned off at the breaker. Fit the extender snugly over the existing box, adjusting the wiring as needed before securing it in place. Ensure that all connections are secure and comply with local electrical codes.

If the box and the wall are not even, the box can be sanded down.
