This is a video card bracket for an older style of Velocity Micro Tower.
It is designed to go into the unthreaded holes in several of the unused HDD brackets, and hold up the extreme right edge of the video card.

Many Towers still do not have something built in for this and as video cards use a larger and larger heatsink with heavier materials, they tend to dip on the right corner and eventually cause a short that fries the mainboard.

They can also pull the PCIE slot right off the motherboard in some cases.

Please modify to your liking.

I have included the Sketchup files for tweaking and adjustments.

• Notes:

  Print with a Brim to prevent warping and corner lift. 10 lines is usually enough.

  Use small screw to set the Insert into the correct height on the riser.

  Print with ABS for best strength and longevity.

  Especially if your tower is using Air cooling, and has a higher interior case temp.
