Well, Gridfinity is modular. But how much? If you have a certain space, you only have an option for a certain size of base plate, and you have to make it. I know there are generators, but still. What if you suddenly want a bigger one? you will have to print a new one.
You only have so much freedom to re-align your bins ( with various sizes). And you can't change the sizes.
