The Story

Our On/Off-Switch from our Bosch Electric Water Kettle (Bosch TWK1201N) broke. So I created a replacement part. Sadly I didn't have all the broken parts, only the detached part inside the housing. So I just redesigned the outer parts simple. This is already the second version, The first one didn't possess the curved inner part and the switch turned off before the boiling point.

Used Material

I printed the part with PETG to have it more durable, maybe ASA mit be more appropriate. But the part does not seem to get thermal stress.

Design

I have attached also the FreeCAD file if you want to change the design and want to use it for another variant. Don't judge me too hard with the design in the FreeCAD file, I am still in the learning phase here.

Replacing this part requires to open the bottom part of the kettle. 
Only licensed or qualified electricians should attempt to replace this part.
