Usefull for yarn wound on a cardboard cylinder.
Printing instructions
print 1 body and 2 needle stoppers.
No support needed, it can be printed in PLA or PETG
Assembly and use
Install a 3,5 mm (US 10) dpn. You will also need a swivel clasp with a wrist-band attached.
To use: thread the yarn through the eye, insert the skein between the prongs of the yarn minder, put the dpn through the prongs and the skein. Secure the dpn with the needle stoppers.
The cat-tail yarn minder
For yarn which requires about a 30 degree angle to wind smoothly.
Printing instructions
Print one, You will also need a swivel clasp with a wrist-band attached.
No support needed, it can be printed in PLA or PETG
Assembly and use
To use: clip on the swivel clasp and pull the skein onto the cat's tail. If needed, pull the yarn up to achieve a steeper angle.
The Angled Yarn Minder
For all smaller skeins. Winds smoothly at an angle.

print one long or one short. You will also need a swivel clasp with a wrist-band attached.
No support needed, it can be printed in PLA or PETG
Assembly and use
To use: slide the skein onto the eye of the yarn minder and clip on the wrist-band. Knit or crochet from the ball, making sure it hangs freely when the yarn is pulled from it.
