This is designed to replace the supplied clear dome that comes with the model as it can produce blurring in the video and images you take using your camera.

The replacement hood/lens protector replaces that original part and provide a flat angled surface so a flat, clear sheet of clear plastic (81.5mm diameter) can be mounted to further protect the camera. The camera cover can be used without a clear plastic cover and still provide protection for the camera and help reduce lens flare.

Fit and works great with board cameras, FatShark cameras and action cameras like the GoPro.

The curve of the part is gentle so that the majority of the print will be very stable. The walls are 3mm so should print well and provide a sturdy part.

If not using supports then care should be taken on the final 20 layers as the overhang for the internal lip that holds the optional clear plastic can droop slightly.
