MacroKeyboard
This is remixed from this beautifully designed MacroKeyboard (Stream Cheap https://www.partsnotincluded.com/diy-stream-deck-mini-macro-keyboard/ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2822140 ).
I Loved the design but I wanted it to fit next to my available keyboard plus I wanted some more functionality. Therefore, I redesigned the body and switch holder plate. The switch holder plate has now additional holes for a rotary encoder and three LEDs for different selectable rotary encoder modes like volume, screen brightness etc.
As a added plus I added a hole for a 3.5 mm jack to connect a pedal switch which I saw in this amazing YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2cpPe45iWKwrZc0OK8k-Pw

Assembling the MacroKeyboard
A few details about how to assemble the MacroKeyboard. The whole process and the code to make it work is also described here:

After redesigning the body and switch holder plate it is easy to just press the switches in. The LEDs might need a bit of superglue to stay in place. The rotary encoder comes with a little nut with which it can be secured in place. I bend the ground wires of the LEDs to be soldered together.

The LED resistor is directly soldered to the bend LED ground wire. Next up is cutting small connection ground connection wires for the switches. Each switch will get its own pin on the Arduino ProMicro therefore I wired all switch ground pins in series.

I cut a cable for each switch pin and crimped on a connector and put some shrink wrap around it. If you want to permanently keep leave the Arduino ProMicro in there you can just solder those wires on.nnnn
