Summary
This simple case is made to be mounted outside the house (under a roof) to use the camera as a security camera. The case is made so that the night vision IR leds are in use.
The case does insulate the internal warmth of the camera so that it can be used in a couple of minus C degrees. I have used it outside for all winter down below -20 and it works fine.
The camera is sensitive to heat so I suggest you place it in the shadow.
A wall mounted version is added (2016-01-23) and those parts ends with "WM".
The USB cable is able to be routed in three different ways.
Instructions
House printed with front side down. No supports.
Back printed with backside down. No supports.
If you want it more weather resist, coat it with 30min epoxy and put some silicone on the edges that connects to the outside.
Use 4 x 4mm countersunk screws. For the WM version use long 4mm countersunk screws thru all parts.
Put some soft material behind the camera to ensure it to be pushed towards the front surface of the house.
If your printer is not super tuned and precise like mine, print one part at the time in the same position for best fittings of the parts.
