This requires a multi-material printer. Please refer to the attached gcode and PrusaSlicer 3mf project files to learn how to print the checkerboard pattern.

Microchess is a chess variant invented by Glimne in 1997. It uses a small 4x5 chessboard and has a reduced number of pieces. There are no queens on the board, only one pawn.

The rules of chess apply, but there are the following differences:
The soldier doesn't have the option of moving in two steps.
There is no castling.
A soldier can be promoted to any of the four pieces in chess, including the queen.

The chess pieces and the chessboard are designed to be magnetic. There is a storage tray with a magnetic locking buckle.

It includes three different sizes, all of which are scaled down from the full-size FIDE set. They are:
0.50 ratio: 5.8" x 4.8" x 1.2", using 6x3 mm magnets.
0.33 ratio: 3.8" x 3.8" x 0.8", using 4x2 mm magnets.
0.25 ratio: 2.9" x 2.9" x 0.6", using 3x2 mm magnets

If you only need the chessboard and don't need the storage function, please print "Microchess board.stl". Otherwise, please print other files. Glue the top and bottom together.
