We've made many miniature robots! Especially the UK ant-sized (150g) combat robots, which require miniature tools. They need to be not only compact but also portable and easy to use, always ready for action. This is precisely the purpose of these miniature tools and brackets - they can handle tasks that regular hexagonal wrenches and standard screwdrivers cannot handle.
Because they are very compact, we are talking about 4mm sockets with micro tool heads. Torque won't be a problem.
Therefore, ordinary PLA materials are sufficient to handle this task, and the results are quite impressive.
So, if you need a mini tool kit that you can carry in your bag to repair robots, cars, or drones, you "might" find it very useful.
The sleeve can be very tight, and I tend to use a small hammer to gently tap it from the back. It usually only takes a few seconds and a few attempts to install it in the correct position. The storage box uses magnets (x5) with a diameter of 6mm and a depth of 3mm to secure the tools - they should easily snap into place, but applying a few drops of strong glue won't cause any harm. The lid slides to the top and is securely fixed in place, but it can also be easily removed when needed.
I hope you will like it. Thank you
